I chose the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion as my building of choice. Here is what I wrote about the plans:
Plan 1: This plan captures the essence of the museum. The thin lines convey the feeling that there are no boundaries and displays the transparency between domains. The observer has to look closely in order to understand/comprehend different boundaries/rooms. This plan helps convey the mystery and curiosity of the glass on paper.
Plan 2: Because more details of each room have been added, this plan gives the viewer a better sense of what might be seen through the glass walls. Also, the boldness of the lines outlining each room give the observer a clearer picture of the openness and modernity of the structure. This plan showcases how the building defies preconceived notions about what a museum should look like by using itself as a form of art and expression.
